STEM February Break Workshops
There’s no school today so take the opportunity to join us for fun-filled STEM workshops! With a morning workshop focused on Archaeology and an afternoon workshop for Video Game Design, there will be plenty of exploration. Note that students will not be able to stay straight through even if they attend  through the one hourBoth workshops will be led by experienced STEM educators who will adjust program instruction to meet the needs of all participants.
Archaeology 101 Workshop: Explore a different side of STEM with this new program. As Archaeologists, students will study cultural material as they try to understand the past. Archaeologists studying the physical material left behind through the ages. This class will bring together many subjects like physical science, earth and environmental science, topography, anatomy & more!
Video Game Design Workshop: Students will utilize CS First software by Google to create a variety of video games through a partnership with Scratch Coding interface. Students will be able to enhance skills in creating video games with block and Java coding.
