Inking Manga
Students will explore different inking techniques and evaluate the effects of line weight and quality They’ll create a composition of a repeated manga or cartoon character. Each panel will contain the same image but will be treated with different inking to demonstrate how much line quality can lend to the emotion of visual storytelling. Then students will create a comic using the same character to tell a story from their own life.
