9:00 AM - 2:00 PM	Safe Sitter Babysitter Training - Safe Sitter: 5/16/2026 Safe Sitter is a program for 11-14 year olds where you will learn life-saving skills so you can be safe if you're home alone or watching younger children. You'll play fun games and do some role-playing exercises - you'll even get to use manikins to practice choking rescue! Your parents will feel better knowing you're prepared to handle whatever situation comes up, and you'll be ready to be in charge! Class topics include: Babysitting as a Business, Infant & Child Choking Rescue, Injury Prevention & Injury Management, Behavior Management, Safety for the Sitter, Child Care Essentials, and Infant & Child CPR. This is a 5-hour, one day course and students will have a lunch break.
