News: Job Posting: Assistant Pool Coordinator

Works under the supervision of the Pool Coordinator. Generally responsible for managing daily pool operations including, but not limited to, supervising lifeguard and swim instructor staff, maintaining the pool facility in the absence of the Aquatics Director and Pool Coordinator. Will also be required to teach swimming lessons and perform lifeguard duties. Thorough knowledge and application of lifeguarding rescue, swimming skill and teaching techniques. Ability to instruct, assign, supervise and evaluate lifeguarding and swim instruction staff in the performance of assigned duties. Knowledge of the principles and practices of facility rules, policies and procedures. Well-developed oral and written communicative skills. Ability to perform all functions necessary to maintain certifications. Ability to swim and go in a pool in an emergency.
