Oil Painting
Oil Painting - Learn the basics of oils with an emphasis on technique and color mixing. You’ll begin with a project designed by the instructor and then move on to a subject of your choice. If you already have some experience with oils, join this fun class and increase your knowledge of techniques and delve deeper into the theory of color. Instructor: Rita Paradis (6 weeks)
Atmospheric Landscape - Let your memory and imagination inspire you as you create beautiful landscapes. Will graciously shares the techniques which allow him to paint from his imagination and memories. You too will learn to achieve an atmospheric style that captures the essence, beauty and emotion of the landscape. Day one begins with a brief lecture and demonstration, and then we launch into a full day of painting. Day two will consist of starting new works as well as finishing up the previous day’s work, with guidance and instruction from Will on both days. The class fee includes most everything you need – paints, canvases, and other supplies. A few days before the workshop starts, a video will be sent to you to get you prepared.
