Button Up!
Learn how to sew buttonholes using a sewing machine and attach buttons. This technique can be used for sewing clothing and other items. Students will leave the class ready to add buttons to their next sewing project. Instructor: Melanie Rice (1 day)
 
Zipper Magic
Learn how to attach zippers to projects using a sewing machine. The class will cover visible and invisible zippers. This knowledge will expand the breadth of projects the student can sew. Instructor: Melanie Rice (1 day)

Let’s Get Sewing - Overcome the mysteries of the sewing machine and discover how fun and easy it can be! Learn the basics of machine sewing including threading, operating and troubleshooting. Practice using the machine and then move on to simple projects for yourself or for gift-giving. Students will learn a variety of skills including piecing, applique and quilting. Projects will include a 4-patch pin cushion, Boho bags, zippered pouch, or pillow covers. Previous students are welcome to attend and work on their own projects. Instructor: Christine Jewell (5 weeks)
