Book N' Hook Club
(Crocheting & Audio Books)
Grades: rising 6th-9th graders (11-14 yrs old)
Here’s how this works: Each week we’ll be listening to an audio book and crocheting something (or things) while we listen. The group meets weekly on Monday evenings throughout the Summer to crochet together.
Dates: meets on Mondays July 8th - August 19th
Time: 5:45p.m.- 7:30 p.m.
Summer S.L.A.M.M.!
(Science, Literacy, Arts, Math & More)
Grades: rising 1st - 3rd
Learning through hands on activities, crafts and experimentation. Participants will explore the world around them in a variety of ways including stories, music, art and science while in a fun, interactive group environment.
Dates: meets on M/W/F August 5th - August 16th
Time: 9:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.
Student Math Mastery Club
Grades: rising 3rd - 5th graders
Summer enrichment program that uses a variety of learning strategies including, games, math stations, arts & crafts and demonstrations to help show that math is fun and recreational. We welcome all kids, those who enjoy math as well as those that may need a little extra math motivation. The club is designed to help kids appreciate the math that's all around them and provide them with extra math support over the summer with the help of teen helpers.
Dates: meets on M/W/F July 8th - July 19th
Time: 12:45 p.m.-2:15 p.m.
