The Ultimate Soccer Academy is devoted to developing an athlete's knowledge of the game of soccer and to teaching the skills required to play it successfully. At the Ultimate Soccer Academy it is our purpose and goal to create an atmosphere where players will have a chance to learn and to develop the necessary skills associated with soccer, while improving their knowledge of the game. The staff is made up of dedicated and accomplished players and/or coaches with years of experience at the collegiate and high school level. Grouping of participants will depend on age, experience and overall ability. Players are advised to bring plenty of water. Players are REQUIRED to wear shin guards at all sessions. Each player is expected to bring his/her own ball; players will receive a complimentary t-shirt. Closing ceremonies will start at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday.

Directed by Artur Branco! Coach Branco is the Boys Head Soccer Coach at Cheshire High School. In 28 years with the program he has led the Rams to 27 State playoff appearances, 11 Housatonic and 5 Orornoque League Championships, 3 Southern Connecticut Conference Championships and 2 State L Final in 2021 and 2022. In 2022 they won the Class L State Championship! Currently he holds a combined record of 337-142-56. He received the League's Coach of the Year Award in 9 times. In 2006 Coach Branco was presented with the 2006 State Coach of the Year award and in 2007 & 2022 was awarded the All-Area Coach of the Year award. He was selected to coach the Senior Bowl 7 times. In 2000, he became Head Coach of the Cheshire under 23 team; under his direction, the team went undefeated and won the League and State Cup Championship. Coach Branco played collegiate soccer with the Owls at Southern Connecticut State University and was a member of the University's first NCAA National Championship Team in 1987. Prior to coming to America, Coach Branco played soccer in Portugal for Benfica and for the Portuguese Youth National Team up to the under 19. Currently, Coach Branco is the World Language Department Chair at Cheshire Public Schools.
