Registration for Art Camps begins on March 1.
Magical Kingdom Camp (Grades 1-3)
Experience the Magic! Bring characters from your favorite movies such as Moana, The Lion King, Inside Out, and more to life. You will build your own castle, design your own crown and learn how to draw famous characters and more! Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle. Instructor: Jocelyn Pannell
Nature Art Camp (Grades 3-6)
Let’s get outside and be inspired by the beauty of nature that surrounds us! Students will enjoy a walk on the linear trail to look, listen, collect and sketch in our art journals. Back in the studio, we will explore printmaking bees and bugs, painting trees with watercolor, drawing animals, air dry clay frog planters, 3-D butterflies and birds from recycled materials and much more based on our Nature theme of the day! Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle. Instructor: Kristy Endriss
Cartooning Camp (Grades 3-6)
Join us as we create our own cartoon characters and their worlds! We’ll learn how to add expression and action to these characters, and the importance of TIME in telling their stories! We’ll pay attention to writing and lettering, as we create comic strips and single panel gags! Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle. Instructor: Megan Jeffrey
Fairytopia Art Camp (Grades 1-4)
Immerse yourself in a world of fairies! Visit a fairy world and make fairies out of wire, beads, and flowers. Create a fairy garden, a headdress and jewelry; decorate fairy cakes; and explore the entire world of magical fairies wearing your own set of wings. Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle. Instructor: Deb Lasher
Mini Seaside Camp (Grades 3-6)
A small CRAFTING advisory will be in effect for an entire week of building a mini seaside town! Students will create areas of ocean, beach and park, and will populate them with characters (surfers, mermaids, pirates, lifeguards, sunbathers) and create a myriad of props using clay, wood, fabric, and more. Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle. Insturctor: Megan Jeffrey
Superheroes & Villains Camp (Grades 3-6)
Children will learn about character design as they create their own superhero and villain character, creating and publishing comic books. They’ll choose one of their characters to create a costume and props, which they’ll “cosplay” on the last day of camp at our mini “Comic Con”. Comics will be distributed, autographs signed, and there will be photo-taking opportunities with kid-art backdrops! Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle. Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle.
