Drawing Immersion - This foundational art class is focused on transforming three-dimensional subjects into two-dimensional drawings through the precise study of light, shade, and volume. This course will emphasize observational techniques to help artists understand how light defines the shape, depth, and texture of objects. There will be a new study each class; whether or not a student completes the drawing will depend on their abilities. There is less emphasis on completing a project and more on learning a skill and how to use new knowledge and put it to action. Instructor: Janelle Chandler (5 weeks)

Landscape Drawing
- This class for beginners and intermediates is an opportunity to learn about drawing, observation and seeing the subject in both traditional and new ways. Different drawing concepts will be introduced and explored each week, including lines, scale, shading, texture and composition. There will be plenty of guidance for each student from the instructor. Bring several reference photos, prints or images of landscapes to work from or choose from our selection. Instructor: Mike Berlinski (6 weeks) No Class: 3/27, 4/3

Life Drawing - Join Tony Falcone for a life drawing workshop that will teach students to draw the human form from a live model, using charcoal on paper. Tony will begin by demonstrating his process in capturing a likeness through line, composition and value, and then teach and guide students how to see and sketch what they are seeing while exploring their own style and artistic approach.  The goal of the workshop will be to complete a final sketch. Instructor: Tony Falcone (1 day)

Pen & Ink - Discover the expressive power and intricate detail of pen and ink. Designed for artists of all levels, from complete beginners to those looking to refine their skills, this workshop will explore a range of mark-making techniques to render rich, natural textures and create a sense of depth and form. By the end of the workshop, you will have gained confidence in using the medium and completed a small drawing to practice new skills. Instructor: Janelle Chandler (1 day)
