It's back this Summer!
F.A.S.T. (Fitness, Agility, and Speed Training) is a returning program facilitated by CHS cross country & track athletes and supervised by Youth Services staff that encourages outdoor fun and exercise over the course of 5-weeks this Summer. Kids practice running short and long distance around Bartlem complex after group warm-ups, relay races and running games at the Yellow House. The group will end the night with a cool-down and a brief mindfulness exercise or meditation activity. Light snack and club t-shirt will be provided.

Our first day, Tuesday, July 28th there will be a Volunteer Orientation at 5:00pm prior to the program starting at 6:00pm. During the orientation staff will go over Volunteer expectations, Yellow House rules, review how to be a positive role model by addressing appropriate interactions, behavior and language. We will also discuss the focus and schedule of the program and if there’s time we will have a couple team building exercises for all to participate in. Part of the orientation is making tie-dye shirts, so please make sure to indicate what size shirt you wear by filling out the Google Form by Monday, May 25 so I have plenty of time to order shirts.
