Acrylic Painting (Adults)
Acrylic Painting - Acrylics are a fun, water soluble medium with instant results and easy clean-up. Students will learn through easy exercises, gaining confidence in color mixing. They will play with texture through experimentation with brush types. Painting simple shapes will teach an understanding of how light and dark values make the shapes look realistic. Composition planning will be explained, as well as terms such as scumbling, dry brush, glazing and wet-into-wet painting. This beginner class is perfect for those with little or no experience.
