News: 2026 Mixville Parking Pass Information

Mixville Park is open to the public every day from sunrise to sunset. The park features include a playground, basketball, bocce and sand volleyball courts, hiking trails, fishing ponds and a beach for swimming at your own risk (no lifeguards on duty).  A parking pass is required from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Walk-ins are always welcome at no charge.  Visitors are reminded that this is a parking pass that allows for parking at the site.  Refunds will not be issued due to beach or other park facility closures.

2026 Parking Pass Rates:
Resident Season Pass- $45.00*/one car (Up to 2 additional stickers can be purchased for other cars registered to your household for $5.00 each)
Resident Senior Pass (65 & older) – FREE
Resident Veteran Pass - FREE
Non-Resident Season Pass- $140.00*/one car (Up to 2 additional stickers can be purchased for other cars registered to your household for $5.00 each)
Non-Resident Seniors - $70.00*/one car (Up to 2 additional stickers can be purchased for other cars registered to your household for $5.00 each)
Non-Resident Veterans - - $70.00*/one car (Up to 2 additional stickers can be purchased for other cars registered to your household for $5.00 each)
Resident Day Pass- $10.00* per car per day
Non-Resident Day Pass- $20.00* per car per day
*Parking Pass Fee includes 6.35% CT Sales Tax.
 
A driver’s license must be presented when purchasing a day pass to prove residency. For online purchases, residency is verified through Town Assessor’s records.
 
Beginning May 15, parking passes may be purchased in the following ways:

1.  Online at https://cheshirect.myrec.com/info/products/default.aspx?CategoryID=10 (CREDIT CARD ONLY)

2.  In person at the Parks and Recreation Office Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm (Cash, Check, Credit Card)

3.  In person at the gate at Mixville beginning May 23 (Credit Cards only - NO CASH OR CHECKS can be accepted by the gate attendant.)
 
Season Pass Purchases: Stickers purchased online or at Mixville will be processed through the office and can be picked up at the gatehouse approximately 3 days after purchase.
 
Day Pass Purchases: Your receipt (printed or emailed) is your pass and includes the date the pass is valid.  *Please note that purchases of day passes cannot be credited towards a season pass.
 
Important Reminder: State of Connecticut Passport to Parks is only valid for State Parks and not accepted at Mixville. Additionally, pool passes are valid only for the Community Pool and are not accepted at Mixville.
