Important Notice Regarding Bartlem Park
The Town of Cheshire Parks and Recreation Department has received a significant number of complaints regarding the operation of e-bikes in Bartlem Park. In addition to these concerns, damage has been caused to the newly constructed Bartlem Park Bandshell area.
To help preserve this beautiful community space and ensure it remains a safe and peaceful destination for everyone, the Parks and Recreation Department has implemented a prohibition on the use of e-bikes within Bartlem Park pursuant to Sections 11.11 and 11.17 of the Town of Cheshire Ordinance Code.
Additionally, security cameras will be installed in and around the Bartlem Park Bandshell. These cameras will provide continuous monitoring and recording of the area. Anyone found vandalizing or tampering with park property will be investigated and prosecuted for any applicable criminal offenses.
Bartlem Park is one of Cheshire's premier gathering places, hosting events such as the popular Bartlem Beats concert series and providing a beautiful space for residents and visitors to enjoy throughout the year.
Maintaining this community treasure takes all of us. We ask everyone to respect the park, follow the posted regulations, and help us keep Bartlem Park a place we can all be proud of.
