Colored Pencil - Colored Pencil Poinsettia
Colored Pencil Beginner - Students will work with Prismacolor soft, wax based colored pencils to learn layering, blending, and shading techniques on professional acid-free paper. Subjects vary according to each student’s personal design to create lasting works of art. Instructor: Norma Curtis (6 weeks) Note: No class 11/27 & 11/30Colored Pencil Techniques - Learn the many techniques which can give your colored pencil artwork the look of oil paintings. You will study layering, burnishing, dissolving, lifting color, infusing color and so much more. Much emphasis will be placed on achieving proper values, arriving at the desired color and how to achieve specific effects. You will work with artist quality pencils and papers. All supplies are included. Beginners work on projects designed by the instructor and then move on to working on pieces of their own choosing. Intermediate and advanced students work independently with plenty of help and direction from the instructor.
